In the News
Recently in the news there was a 26 year old man who also was a registered sex offender who was killed, beheaded, and started on fire. This was on the news last Thursday, but at that time they had no leads. Well it turns out that the killers were two acquantences of the man, but the real shocker for me was these two were 17 and 18 year olds that killed for the thrill. This is what they told police. I think this is absolutely disgusting that anyone would ever just kill someone for the thrill of it. It makes me wonder what this world is coming to. Our youth are killing because of what? Something needs to be done, so that when teenagers are bored they don't go to the extreme and do something that is beyond stupid and very hurendous.

I couldn't believe the news report either,when I heard it. I agree with you that something has to be done. Our youth need to understand that this is not what our culture is supposed to do for thrills.
How come I did not hear? I did not hear this. But yes, both of you are correct. Our culture should not let anybody get away with it. Boredom does not justify a killing. Get a job it you are bored watch television, but don't end someone's life.
I too couldn't believe this story when I heard it. One boy did the killing and after he had already done it all he found that he couldn't lift the body on his own so he called his friend to come help him dispose of the body. So now there is a lot of talk about peer presure and about knowing who your kids are friends with.
