Ever since I can remember I watch General Hospital Monday thru Wednesday at 3:00 pm. There was a time when I even taped it daily so that I wouldn't miss any episode. Then when I had a quiet moment I would watch what I had taped. I even taped it if we were going on vacation so that when we arrived back home I could catch up on the missed episodes. I love the story lines and the characters. It has become my escape from the daily routine and stress. When my kids were little I watche when they napped so that I had a rest time also!!
My mother-in-law watches it as religiously as I do. Then we compare what we saw and what we think will happen in the coming days. Now my teenage daughter is watching it with me. We'll see if she becomes addicted or not. It's how I started. I'd be lost if they ever took it off the air!!

Cindy, I am nearly as addicted to days of Our Lives. My mom and aunt have watched it since they were teenagers, and my Grandma watched for years. Now, even as cheesy and far-fetched and repetitious as the story lines are, I just love it. I feel like I sort of "know" the characters. I know their history, and all the family members the drag out of thin air sometimes. I can't explain what keeps me coming back to it, but I just love watching it when I'm home (I had to force myself to stop taping it because I never make the time to watch the taped episodes later).
I am addicted to General Hospital too! I use to be just like you, taping it all the time. But at the begining of this semester I realized that I can't keep up anymore. With student teaching coming up I knew I couldn't keep up much longer. So know I just keep track by going on-line everyonce in a while and catching it on soapnet when I can. (my boyfriend wants to block that channel!)
