Cedar Point
Over the weekend, I went to experience "Halloweekends" at Cedar Point with my sister and our boyfriends. Since I haven't been to Cedar Point in several years, I was very surprised to see the massive structures that are often referred to as "rides." I can honestly say that I was scared to ride some of the newer roller coasters and I had an extreme amount of anxiety as I waited in line to ride "Millennium Force." However, it wasn't enough that I had to ride the extremely scary rides. I was also succumbed to see the horrified look on my face after I rode the rides on a series of screens that captured my image. Better yet, some of the rides even have a video of each cart, which was available for purchase just in case you wanted to watch it at a later date for some laughs. All I can say about this is "Are you kidding me?" Why in the world would I want a picture of myself going a million miles per hour down a steep hill? Wouldn't that be a priceless YouTube video? I think that these roller coaster images and videos are just some other ways for Cedar Point to be advertised. I mean, think about it. If I bought one of the over priced videos and showed it to all of my friends and told them it was from the one and only Cedar Point, wouldn't that be a form of advertising?

I went to Cedar Point last year during 'Holloweekends" too, it was so much fun. I was not afraid to go on big rides but I was afraid when night time hit. This is where they try to scare you by jumping in front of you out of nowhere, grabbing your legs, etc.I got scared once or twice.
Anyway, I agree that video taping/taking your pictures while riding the rides can be advertising. Cedar Point can easy sell/put it out there for millions of people to see. Now, whats not funny about screaming your head off?
I haven't been to Ceder Pointe in forever, but I am with you, I am so scared of those rides. I remember my family trying to trick me to go on rides, they would say the line was for something else!
