Where are the jobs in Michigan? Why doesn't the U.S. accept help from other countries?

How would you fix the unemployment in Michigan?

Governor Jennifer Granholm has stated that the state is in need of chemists. My husband is a Chemist and right now he is working through a contractor. His salary went from $60,000 a year to approximately $20,000 a year. I went back to school for Business and cannot find a management position. I am currently working at a cafe for $7.00 a hour. The state of Michigan needs chemist. Where are the Chemistry positions?

Here is another question. Why did the Federal government refuse help from the country of Holland? They are experts in the field of buiding and repairing levies. In fact they are in Italy working on Venice. Yes, it is true Venice is sinking.

If other countries can accept help. Why can't the United States? New Orleans is need great need of repair. The federal Government ought to fix it better than they found it.

Social workers have told me some stories. Here is one: New Orleans did have the money to fix the levies, but instead of repairing them the governer took the money and spent it somewhere else. Another story that I heard and this one is sad: That the houses that were standing they moved those people out of their houses and gave them to other people. Depending on their Social economics. Not everything is fair. New Orleans does have some explaining to do.
