Class last week was interesting. We all realized that Opra Winfrey is human and she makes mistakes. Just like a regular person.
Wish the subject was better. The books were good, but the surveys and focus group was boring.
But are the surveys helpful? Marketing is based on 20 people opinions. The group was not that diverse. Marketers are guessing. They are paid to guess. The French guy base his definition on a group of people. He could be wrong. It is just ridculous how much money they spend to market a product, and how much a person gets paid to think of campaign slogan. That just isn't fair?
I work parttime trying to make ends meet and these people have to sell a product and they can afford a Coach brief case with out even a second thought. As instructor you ought to be furious. Teachers ought to be making that kind of money.
After all you are teaching generations of people. instructors help shape the future. Isn't that more important? Just a thought
