Hi, I am Cindy Boylan, a 40 something student in the Elementary Education - Language Arts program. I am a mother of 4 children: a 16 year old daughter, 14 year old son, 10 year old daughter, and an 8 year old daughter. I have been married for 19 years to my best friend! We also have a dog (golden-doodle) that has no idea he is a dog. My life is very full keeping up with my family while I attend college full time, usually 17 credits a quarter.

This is my second attempt at a college degree. Many years ago I was going after a Business administration degree and hated every minute of it. I walked away from school after I married and just started back two years ago. I love the elementary education program and finally feel that I fit in. I am looking forward to completing my degree in two years. Then I can find the job that I having been dreaming about.

I am looking forward to studing the different forms of mass communication. This is my first time participatin in a Blog. It amazes me that I can become part of a media in this way. I have only used the computer for typing papers, email and a little research. This will be quite a new experience for me.
