Hello everyone!!!
My name is Erika Diener and I am very excited to be a part of this class. I currently reside in Warren, MI, but I actually grew up in the Flint area. I attended MSU immediately after high school, but it just wasn't for me, so I tried out a community college in Flint. After a couple of years, I decided to try Baker College in Auburn Hills, which has been a wonderful experience; however, this is my last quarter of classes and I will be off student teaching somewhere in Oakland County come fall 2008.
I have numerous interests and hobbies including: Playing flute, piccolo, guitar, and piano; singing, ballet, art, photography, and scrapbooking. I am an avid reader and some of my favorite authors are Wally Lamb, John Irving, Barbara Kingsolver, and Toni Morrison. Over the summer I read "Life of Pi" and "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time," which I could talk about at length, so I will spare you all the agony. I am a big-time animal lover, but I only own cats at this time. I hope to have horses, goats, dogs, and other random animals in the future (ya know, when I start making the big bucks!).
I am in this class for two reasons. One, I have to be here because if I do not take this class I cannot graduate. Two, I love talking about the media and forms of mass media. I really enjoy watching the news and a variety of television shows, talking on my cell phone, going on the Internet, listening to the radio, using an ipod, and emailing; therefore, I think this class will be a great way for me to learn about how these technological tools are enhancing or deteriorating my brain. I am hoping to learn a little bit more about the effects that media has on society and I look forward to having some thoughtful discussions in class.

Hi Eric,
This is Diane Cangelosi. I did add a photo, but not the one that I said I would post. The reason because Kristen had a miilion pictures taken from her wedding and the one that took of us was Black and White. So I posted that one. Thank-you for all your help.
I will be asking for help again in the near feature. Because we should be putting music and making videos. But right now I have to finish our English Blog. Talk to you later and thank-You very very much for all your help.
